Visual Image Assessment (VIA) Technology
In some instances, MLC employs cutting-edge VIA technology for carcase assessment, alongside a licensed MLC independent classifier, providing an accurate prediction of meat yield. This technology aligns with EU carcase classification regulations but is currently unable to verify dressing specifications and therefore a licenced classifier is essential to ensure a high standard of accuracy and compliance.
