MLC Attends Royal Highland Show 2025

On Thursday 19th June, representatives from MLC attended the Royal Highland Show, one of the UK’s premier agricultural events. George Allan, Operations Manager for Scotland and Northern England, and Patrick Steel, Managing Director, were present on the day to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the red meat industry.

The show provided an excellent opportunity to connect with key industry groups, including Quality Meat Scotland (QMS), the Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department (SEERAD) and to meet with customers from meat processing companies. These conversations offered valuable insights into current priorities across the sector and how MLC can continue to support the supply chain.

Importantly, the event also enabled meaningful discussions with farmers from across Scotland and beyond. These interactions reinforced the vital role that independent carcase classification plays in ensuring transparency and fairness in the market. MLC remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of impartiality and accuracy in our services, ensuring fairness for producers.
