Meat & Livestock Classification (MLC) is delighted to announce its sponsorship of Ben Richards, who represents Carno Football Club in Mid Wales for the 2025–26 season.

Ben has been part of the MLC team since November 2022, working as a Carcase Service Officer in our classification division.

⚽ Based in the picturesque village of Carno, the club competes in the MMP Central Wales Northern Division and is currently top of the league with an impressive 16 points after six games.

Ben’s passion for football runs deep, he began playing for Carno FC at just 16 years old in 2002 and, more than two decades later, continues to bring experience, determination, and leadership to the squad.

“Started playing for Carno FC when I was 16 in 2002 and I’m now playing in my 40th year! After a brief spell away from the field in 2020 following the birth of my two children I returned last season in a push for promotion. Bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge of the game, I hope to drive the team on this season and achieve our goal.”
