Recognising Impact Across the Group – This Month and Beyond

Recognition does not always fit neatly into one timeframe.

Some contributions define a single month — focused, time-sensitive, delivered under pressure. Others build steadily over time, shaping teams, supporting colleagues and raising standards day after day. This month, we recognise both.

March brings together our Employee of the Month winners alongside our Teammate of the Quarter — highlighting impact in the moment, and consistency over time.

🏆 Teammate of the Quarter – Q4 2025–26 - Roberto Rodriguez

Official Veterinarian – HMOC, WW3

Teammate of the Quarter is a selective award, nominated by colleagues and decided through a leadership vote. It recognises individuals whose contribution is felt consistently across the team.

Roberto has been nominated several times over the course of the year, both for his in-month performance and for the way he supports those around him. Known for his professionalism, reliability and strong work ethic, he brings a can-do attitude that colleagues value and trust.

Approachable and dependable, Roberto is seen as a key asset by peers, managers and the wider team. His work reflects the values that underpin our organisation — collaboration, integrity, openness and quality — and his recognition this quarter is well earned.

🏆 Employee of the Month – March 2026

  • MLC Winner – Daniel Patterson

CSO2 – MLC Division

Sometimes the most meaningful contributions are the simplest.

During March, Joel had annual leave planned for his birthday week. When a colleague from another site was unexpectedly unable to work, Joel stepped in without hesitation, changing his plans to provide cover where it was needed.

He worked the full week, supporting the team and ensuring continuity of service. His flexibility, attitude and willingness to prioritise the needs of others reflect the kind of team spirit that defines MLC at its best.

  • Official Controls Winner - Daniela Ramos

Official Veterinarian

Daniela’s work this month has been recognised not only internally, but also externally by the FSA, following her contribution to a high-profile project involving horse trichinella sampling.

Delivered on time, in full and with exceptional attention to detail, the work required adaptability, forward thinking and close collaboration. Daniela demonstrated flexibility in developing new processes, while anticipating potential challenges before they arose.

Her clear communication, openness and ability to build strong working relationships played a significant role in the success of the project. Receiving unprompted positive feedback from a key stakeholder is a strong reflection of both her professionalism and the quality of her work.

A Shared Standard

Across different roles and situations, one theme remains consistent — people stepping forward when it matters.

Whether through sustained contribution over time, delivering under pressure, or supporting colleagues without being asked, Roberto, Daniela and Joel each demonstrate what it means to uphold our core values of quality, integrity, collaboration and openness.

We are proud to recognise their contributions and the standard they continue to set across the Group.
